The research aims to identify the attitudes of the faculty members at the College of Education towards the use of the interactive whiteboard in teaching, and to identify the statistically significant differences in their attitudes towards the use of the interactive whiteboard according to the gender variable.
The interactive whiteboard is a modern technology and educational aid in the educational process for teaching different subjects.
It allows users to save, organize and print various text, audio, and image files.
It provides a two-way learning environment.
Where there is an interaction relationship between the faculty member and the student, its use in the classrooms at the College of Education gives the graduate student skills and experience in using them easily and conveniently when he practices his profession as a teacher in the educational institution in the future.
To achieve the objectives of the research, the descriptive approach was used, and the questionnaire was the research tool, and it was distributed to (63) faculty members, Arithmetic (4.19) and standard deviation (0.87).
The axis (the importance of the interactive whiteboard for the faculty member) obtained an arithmetic mean (4.46), a standard deviation (0.68) and a very large degree of direction, and the axis (the importance of the interactive whiteboard for the student) obtained an arithmetic mean (4.31) A standard deviation (0.76) and a very large degree of direction, and the axis (obstacles to the application of the interactive whiteboard) obtained an arithmetic mean (3.82) and a standard deviation (1.17) with a significant degree of direction, and the results concluded that there were no statistically significant Differences between the responses of the research sample in the trends Faculty members towards the use of the interactive whiteboard due to the gender variable, and in light of the results of the research, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, including: -The need for the university administration to provide the technology of using the interactive whiteboard in the halls of the College of Education, to equip the classrooms whit what is necessary for this technology, and to train faculty members to use it.
-The necessity of including the use of modern technologies, including the interactive whiteboard, within the content of the educational technology course taught by students of the College of Education.
