We aim through this research paper to shed light on how to exploit and develop renewable energies as an effective tool for achieving economic and social growth in Algeria, and the extent of its contribution to achieving sustainable development.

Renewable energies contribute to achieving sustainable development.

Finally, we dealt with the reality and prospects of renewable energies in Algeria, and the most important obstacles facing the implementation of this strategy, with reference to the recommendations at the end of the study.

Following the descriptive approach and the analytical approach to the various laws and programs regulated by the state to facilitate the investment process in this field.
