The widespread phenomenon of unlicensed sheds has become a concern for vehicle owners and public authorities alike, as it has affected users of public roads, municipal treasuries, security and public tranquility in the streets and neighborhoods in which they are located or adjacent to them.

this situation has prompted the legislator to intervene in order to criminalize this shameful behavior and put an end to its increasing negative repercussions and protect people and their property.

hence, this study is aiming to determine this intervention's extent of response on the protection of the parking spaces users from the abuses that may affect them, and its role in motivating local groups to find legal alternatives to recover their real estate and promote local development, as well as its effectiveness in addressing the case from its various aspects.
