This research paper deals with the competencies of the independent national electoral authority, as the issue of securing and ensuring the integrity and transparency of the electoral process from various impurities that disturb it and falsify its results, requires in the first place to provide the independent authority with broad powers and in a balanced manner, within the framework of the principle of independence, which represents the backbone and mainstay of establishing a state the law, as it is the real guarantee for this authority to exercise various tasks freely, and according to which the authority is far from any subordination to others.
