Abstract EN

This research paper aims to approach narrative discourse according to a pragmatic vision.

we chose the novel “a dream on the banks” written by Algerian author Hassiba Moussaoui, in order to uncover the intricacies of hidden discourse and its narrative content through identifying its implied telling in order to reach the intentionality.

We will try to access the worlds of this novel to look into the various persuasive communication mechanisms adopted by the author in her discourse by exploiting the procedures of the pragmatic method.
