Vagueness of the words contained in the Qur’an and its distinction in his description in that particular aspect.

research problem• Did Ibn Hisham give certain impact in the knowledge relates with vagueness of the Qur’an? What the size of its impact? • What is the distinctive feature of knowledge of Ibn Hisham related with his approach toward gharib al-Qur’an? What is the method he employed in giving exegesis? research findings• Ibn Hisham excelled in addition to the knowledge on the History of the Prophet (pbuh) in these following aspects : knowledge on vagueness of language (gharib al-lughoh), his preservation and evidences and its coherence.

• Ibn Hisham gave exegesis as contained in his book, one hundred and eleven words on vagueness of the Qur’an (gharib al-Qur’an).

• Ibn Hisham supported with two hundred and two evidences from the Qur’an including the mood of recitation, Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh), sayings of Salafi scholars, and Arabic classical poetries.
