The research paper dealt with the issue of quality assurance and accreditation for the programs of the Library and Information Department of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Alexandria through the case stud;y method, to identify the extent to which its programs meet the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation for the arts sector.
The stud;y aimed to determine the stud;y programs available in the Libraries and Information Department and to analyze the compatibility of the first stage programs with the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation and to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the programs and the extent of their compliance with scientific development, and to stud;y and analyze the compatibility of graduate programs with the authority's standards to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the programs and the extent of their conformity to development Scientific.
The stud;y covers the period from 2009 until the end of 2019, and the researcher used the questionnaire and personal interview as tools for the study The stud;y limited 11 Arab and Egyptian studies that dealt with the issue of quality assurance and accreditation for stud;y programs in the field of libraries and information.
The results confirmed that onl;y the technical and records personnel have full authority over the systems, and upon modification, the higher approvals are always issued.
Patients' data and other information are stored on site to maintain the confidentiality of data and prompt retrieval when needed.
The results indicated that the phone (by conversation or by short messages) was the means of communication with patients, which revealed the hospital's need for establishing a comprehensive development program in light of the willingness and capabilities that could serve the movement towards better future.
