Abstract EN

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, praise be to His abundant bounties and rewards, and prayers and peace be upon the best of His servants, the most generous of His creation, and the seal of His prophets and messengers, Muhammad al-Amin (may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family)The Muslims conquered Andalusia in the year (92 AH / 771 AD), and settled in it for about eight centuries.

During these centuries, Islamic Andalusia passed through different distinct periods, the first of which was the era of rulers, followed by the era of the Umayyad Emirate and the era of the Umayyad Caliphate, then the era of the king of the sects, the era of the Almoravids and the Unitarians, and finally the kingdom GranadaThe Iberian Peninsula was never a purely Islamic country and was divided into a Christian state in the far north and an Islamic state in the rest of the peninsula.

Until now, researchers have not been blind to highlighting the relations between the Muslims of Andalusia and the Christians as they should.

Here was my interest in this topic that I chose (the historical and political relations between Islamic Andalusia and Christian Spain in the era of the Umayyad Emirate (38 - AH 300 / 755-912).

My aim is to identify the size and nature of those relations between those two countries.
