Abstract EN

This research aims of highlighting the manifestations of syntactic consistency in the Quranic text through the verses that describe the hypocrites.

It depend on one of the mechanisms of grammatical consistency, which is "replacement", in turn, refers to a process that takes place inside the structure of the text in which a linguistic element is replaced by another from the text itself.

This research tackles the process of replacement in specific Quranic texts analyzing their structure depending on the opinions of the modern as well as the ancient linguists.

Replacement has a great effect on linguists the consistency through its mean components, "the replaced" and "the replaced with" elements.

The meaning of the first element depends on the meaning of the second and the relationship between them is mostly an anterior one.

Through this research it becomes clear that replacement greatly participates to consistency of the text.
