We have classified the tales contained in the following types: - Realistic tale: Those tales that are based on historical events narrated in a literary manner through their submission to the authority of the narrator who rearranged them according to the memory and literary creativity.

- The funny tale: It does not deviate much from realism except through some events that provoke laughing and fun with the aim of recreation, and sometimes mockery of social situations and sometimes harsh criticism aimed at reform.

- The strange tale: It is those tales that depart from reality at the beginning of their events, but soon return to it after the narrator puts an interpretation of it that explains what was strange at the beginning of the narration of its events.

- The dreaming tale: It is the tale that depends on the recitation of the events most often through the dreams, so the dream becomes an outlet for the narration and the tales end with one of two things: As for the interpretation of the dream and the closing of the narration circle or the dream come true.

And through careful extrapolation of the functions of the tales mentioned in the book, we found it divided into two parts: - Fixed functions, including the narrative function and the teaching function.

- The variable functions: are found in one tale and are ent in another.
