Abstract EN

The study aims to learn about self-awareness and its relationship to fear of academic failure among sixth preparatory students (literary, scientific).

the number of the sample members (120) male and female students were chosen by the simple random method of equal distribution.

for the purpose of measuring this goal, the self-awareness scale for (Karaghuli 2011) which consists of (26) items, as well as the scale for fear of academic failure for (al-Saadi 2014), which consists of (23) paragraphs.

the results of the current research indicated that sixth-grade middle school students have self-awareness, fear of academic failure, and that there is a good correlation between self-awareness and fear of academic failure, and that there are differences in the relationship according to the gender variable in favor of males, and there are no statistically significant differences according to the branch (literary, scientific).
