Abstract EN

Ghadeer-Khum is one of the Motwater/frequent hadithwhich was known by near and far inside the Islamic nation.

Itis indeed a hadith for divine call, hadith of perfection of faith, completion of grace, and satisfaction of Allah for the religionwhich He revealed to our noble prophet, and therefore it isan indisputable hadith, because the event of Al-Ghadeer ifknown to everyone among the adversaries and the believersof the event.

It was unanimously agreed that the Messenger mayAllah's blessings and peace be upon him and his familydecided to go for Hajj on the tenth year of Hijri Islamiccalendar, and proclaimed to the people the hajj, and greatnumber of Al-Medina citizens followed him on the journey tothe hajj which was called the Farewell Hajj.

Also, unknownnumber of groups of people joined him that no one exceptAllah Almighty knows their amount.

Some historians havetried to count these masses, but in vain.

Therefore, I tried in this humble search to spot the lighton the Quran verses which were revealed on this occasion, considering the reason, place, and time of the verse revelation, interpretations of the verse, words of the verse and theirmeanings, and determining meanings of some special wordslike; the word (Alyawmdue: due to the different interpretations of it, using the synergyof meaning and contextual evidence of the Quranic versesand the reasons for their revelation, as well as refuting theopinions that against the rightful facts and strengthen theright opinion.

The nature of the research necessitated to base thesearch on three topics starting with introduction about theevent of Ghadeer-Khum, and a conclusion included the mostimportant findings of the search.

In the first topic I discussed the (verse: 67) from SuratAl-Ma'idah, and in the second topic I studied: (verse: 3) fromSurat Al-Ma'idah.

In the third topic emphasis on the entitlement of theCommander of the Faithful Imam Ali peace be upon him toAlwelayah/rule using of the first verse of Surat Al-Maarij.

On this search I have relied on several resources andreferences represented by books of interpretation of allschools of thought, language books, and Arabic dictionaries.
