Abstract EN

The oriental researches have taken an important role inthe history of Muslims, and those researches were positionedas a path to be followed by those whom interested in theIslamic affairs.

Among those researches concentrated on studying theincidents and facts that had an impact on changing the courseof the reality of political Islam, and one of the main event wasthe allegiance (Ghadeer-Khum) which was announced by theprophet Mohammed(PBUH) to position Imam Ali bin AbuTalib (PBUH) as a caliph of Muslims at the farewell Hajj/Hajjatul-wada' at the tenth year of Hijri.

This announcement and the allegiance followed hadcaused a wide echo among the Muslims at that time.

However, it was repealed later, and the event of Al-Ghadeer has become an event that distinguishes Shiites fromother Muslims throughout the ages.

Therefore, this incident took a good place in the studiesof orientalists from various fields.

This study recalling the impact of the Quranic text, andthe approach between it and the hadith text of the Succession/Caliphate of Muslims through the Allegiance of Al-Ghadeerin a clear orientalist vision.
