Abstract EN

This study aims to monitor the religious information presented on Facebook pages, the methods used to display religious information presented on Facebook pages, the methods of displaying information preferred by users of religious pages, the study sample, the Egyptian youth’s attitude towards religious pages on Facebook, and the impact of religious pages on Facebook in supporting a culture of tolerance among its users.

Of the Egyptian youth and the manifestations of benefiting from religious pages on Facebook among its users and the intensity of exposure of the sample of the study users to religious pages on Facebook and knowing the motives of the study sample’s use of religious pages on Facebook.

Official pages such as Dar Al Iftaa, Endowments or Sheikh Al-Azhar in addition to the pages of people from the preachers.

This study relied on the use of the survey method in addition to the qualitative survey of the religious pages subject of the study.

The sample of this study was random with (300) individuals from university youth, and the application was implemented by (100) ) Single on three universities, which is the University of Fa Ross Private, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Alexandria University, in addition to analyzing a sample of official and personal religious pages, a qualitative analysis was made.

A form of addiction and the number of subscribers to religious pages exceeds, especially Al-Azhar University students, because their studies tend to learn religious culture, and the sample members do not believe that religious pages on Facebook can contribute to the increasing manifestations of hatred of the other.
