Assyrians began their cupidity by expanding west in attempt to occupy Syria until the Syrian Coast, and the naval trade accesses.
The Assyrian's Army wanted to control Syria because of its special geographic site on the coast of Mediterranean sea.
The first Assyrian's campaigns in the mid of Assyriancountry which lasted in the modern Assyrian country, hardly saw any of Assyrian kings records that didn’t mention any of its kings and their part in the campaigns in the Syrian Coast as Soor City, that faced the occupation and tried to push the harm by paying money instead of peace to keep its trade and safety stable.
Keldans inherited the Assyrian's authorities, Syria and Soor entered to their authority and their struggle to control the authorities regions of Syria, after that the Persian Occupation came, which the Syrian cities sustained it against the Greek.
Soor fought Macedonian Occupation, but it dropped in 332 B.C by Alexander because of an intrigue to submit it, so the role of the Kingdome either politically or economically had finished forever.
