Abstract EN

This study aimed to understand the relationship and impact between the application of social performance management in Islamic microfinance institutions and to enhance their role in improving their performance in the fight against poverty.

The descriptive analytical approach was adopted by presenting and discussing the dimensions, aspects and studies related to the subject of the study, and the questionnaire was used as a tool to identify the level of application of the dimensions of social performance management in Islamic microfinance institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The study found that there is a positive impact of the application of social performance management in Islamic microfinance institutions on their performance in fighting poverty in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the respondents' responses to each of the social performance management and performance improvement of Islamic microfinance institutions in reducing poverty due to demographic variables.

The study also reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of encouraging managers and heads of departments and urging them to enhance the application of social performance management in Islamic microfinance institutions, due to the clear mechanisms that it provides to achieve the goals of microfinance, both conventional and Islamic
