Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the electronic competencies of public school principals in the Madaba education directorate as determined by government school principals, and the descriptive approach was followed.

it consisted of (75) individuals from the study community.

the study tool consisted of a two-part questionnaire.

the first part included demographic data: gender, experience, and scientific level.

the second part included electronic competencies represented in two axes (computer use competencies, and internet use competencies ), and its stability was confirmed by calculating the internal consistency coefficient (Cronbach's alpha) and its value was (0.886), and the internal validity coefficient was calculated and its value was (0.917).

there are no statistically significant differences in the degree of availability of competencies due to the educational level variable.

or the variable of gender or the variable of experience, and the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: providing training programs for school principals, which include technological competencies so that they can master them more.
