School leadership through the principal's central role, plays an effective and vital role in school effectiveness and student achievement.

the use of the internet in the educational process has changed the role and the way teachers and administrators communicate in the educational system, using text messages, e-mails and other technologies.

the study population consisted of the number of male and female primary school teachers in the Madaba governorate for the academic year 2021/2022.

which were (1484), (412) males and (1072) females.

the study sample consisted of (139) male and female teachers from Madaba governorate schools.

they were chosen randomly, and the number of males was (91) while the number of females was (48).

the researcher developed the study tool based on previous studies that examined the factors affecting e-learning and it consisted of (10) paragraphs, and it included two dimensions: the field of e-learning application in the school, and the field of e-learning requirements.

the tool was consistent and accurate, and the tool's stability was calculated using the internal consistency method and using Cronbach's alpha coefficient.

the value of the reliability coefficient was (86.5).

the results indicated that the previous level of the role of principals in e-learning from the point of view of teachers in Madaba governorate was (good), as the arithmetic mean was (3.82) and with a standard deviation of (0.72).
