Abstract EN

The study aimed to measure the nature of the communication relationship between the media and the palestinian government after the killing of Nizar Banat, as the researcher identified the problem of studying in the attack of elements in civilian clothes on journalists during their coverage of the events resulting from the killing of Nizar girls and demanding journalists to protect them and not protect them from the government and the tension of the relationship between them.

various palestinian governorates, as the researcher identified a random class sample for the study.

the researcher,s used the questionnaire tool to communicate with the research sample, and the study resulted that the areas of nature of the communication relationship between the media and the palestinian government after the killing of Nizar Banat, were all between the few and medium, and the use of the government strategies to communicate between them and the media following the killing of Nizar Banat were few.

the study recommended the need to build strategic reciprocal contacts between the palestinian government and the media, implement laws that protect freedom of expression and opinion, protect journalists, create dialogue with journalists, provide information and respond to their inquiries, especially during crises, not to be discreet, deny or underestimate attacks on the practitioners of the press, and to follow strategies to correct the right image in apologizing and promising reform, compensation and maintaining positive relationships.
