Abstract EN

The study aims to examine the impact of culture in accessing financing in the Libyan small and medium-enterprises.

the sample size was 350 smes.

the data collected using a questionnaire designed on a five-likert scale.

the results of the study showed that there is a positive impact of the culture of society in the choice of entrepreneurs for funding sources in Libya.

they indicate that many investors avoid official financing due to the Riba factor, while others do not want to borrow from friends or family because of what they think society's negative view of them (traditional values).
