Abstract EN

This study deals with the application of the concept of business intelligence in the preparation of the estimated budgets.

the problem of the study was that the preparation of the estimated budgets depends on the personal assessment .the purpose of the study is to clarify the role of applying the concept of business intelligence in the optimal use of data available in the database to forecast the estimated sales budgets to assist decision makers in the institution in order to arrive at an estimated budget .the method which has been used was statistical methods to collect the data, such as the method of least squares, the research was created an application to analyze the data.

the study also used the method of structural analysis using the unified modeling tool in the analysis process and the use of oracle form builder to build models and report builder to build reports, tools such as the formula column were used to apply time series prediction formulas (the least squares method).

the result of the study the most important of which is the optimal use of the data leading to the preparation of an estimated budget that can be used to make decisions, and the application of the concept of business intelligence leads to the creation of data since the processes of entry, which makes it easy for the organization to prepare reports with high quality and without wasting their resources.
