Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the impact of talent management on the balanced strategic performance, the level of balanced strategic performance of commercial banks in Jordan, the level of the banks ’practice of talent management wit, and the disclosure of the correlations and the potential impact between the dimensions of talent management and the balanced strategic performance of commercial banks in Jordan.

to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was used and the data collection tool (questionnaire) was used, as it was developed to suit the nature of the study based on previous studies (formulated to express each of the variables in order to be able to measure them as they were distributed electronically by the researcher for the narrow factor time and the corona pandemic) and then extracting the truth and stability coefficients, as the study tool was distributed to the study population which consisted of senior management in commercial banks in Jordan which were (13) bank.

data were collected using the purposive sampling method by distributing the questionnaire to all the items of the inspection unit, which were (174) managers, their assistants, representatives and heads of departments from the higher management.

the number of retrieved questionnaires valid for analysis was (122) questionnaires, which constitute a response rate of (76.9) %) of the questionnaires distributed.

simple and multiple linear regression analysis, as well as self-correlation test used to examine hypotheses and reveal results.

the results showed that talent management in its dimensions (talent development, talent performance management, talent attraction and talent retention) respectively has a statistically significant effect on strategic performance balanced in its dimensions(financial, customer, internal processes per, innovation and growth perspectives).

based on the results reached, the study has several recommendations: senior management in commercial banks in Jordan need to continue their interest in talent management; it has a positive effect in promoting balanced strategic performance and the major role it plays in raising the level of banks ’performance and the performance of talented employees.

they should give attention to the aspect of retaining talents and works to stabilize their talent by focusing on investing in individuals by providing opportunities for career advancement and creating a work environment that supports creativity and innovation, plus achieving the largest percentage of job satisfaction and engaging creative workers in developing bank plans.
