تحليل القيمة المضافة في أثر زيادة الصادرات و التكوين الرأسمالي للأنشطة الصناعية في الاقتصاد الأردني باستخدام نموذج ليونتيف "Leontief Model"

Abstract EN

The industrial sector in Jordan is one of the main sectors generating job opportunities, as the industrial sector absorbs about 19.7% of the total labor force, Moreover the industrial sector considered one of the main sectors generating value added, as contributes approximately 22.2% of the total value added to the Jordanian economy in 2020.

This study aims to measure the impact of the increase in exports and the Capital formation of industrial activities on the value-added GVA, including its components.

In order to enhance the description of the Jordanian economy with more (Parameter’s), it is necessary from the mathematical and economic logic to analyze the economic phenomena from a broader and more comprehensive perspective than that at Micro or Macro analysis.

Thus, the “Leontief Model “was used in this study, which is the most important mathematical tool to present important parameters such as multipliers and identify the pivotal sectors and value-added through scenarios represented in increasing exports and capital formation for about 13 industrial activities.

The study concluded in determining the industrial activities generating Value Added, including analyzing the ratios of its components (Such as labor compensation and Operating Surplus) resulting from the scenarios of increase (Exports) and (Capital formation): Chemical and Pharmaceutical products; The study also recommends examining approach in order to enhance the Increase in Capital Formation for: Manufacture of basic metals and formed Metal products; and nonmetallic mineral products, beverage industry and mining industry as well.

This study is distinguished from others in its diagnosis of Value added and the analysis of its components in terms of their impact from exports or Capital formation for a number of industrial activities in Jordan
