Abstract EN

This article aims to trace the foundational interpretations on the summary of Ibn Al-Hajib through his explanations- fourteen explanations- studying the explanations related to the frequent news.

The study employs the inductive and analytical approach.

It concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are: - The foundational interpretation is avoiding a real defect related to a foundational deed to establish a benefit or completing it.

- Knowledge obtained from frequency is important and not heoretical according to scholars’ opinions.

- There are a number of conditions for frequency, some agreed upon and some others disagreed upon.
