Abstract EN

This article aims to study the duality of the relationship between religion and religiosity between Islamic and Western thoughts, a philosophy that has occupied philosophical and human studies globally, in relation to human phenomena that analyze the concepts of religious life, theology, beliefs, experiences and various religious rituals, and forms of religious practices in a special cotext for each religion and sect.

It also aims to study the terminology of religion focusing on a social philosophical dimension that aims to visualize the concepts and methodology of the dual relationship between religion and religiosity and their effects on the behavior of the individual and society to identify the transformations in the concepts of religion.

It is also to understand the modern theories that explain the emergence of religion, illustrating its component and philosophy, and knowing the perceptions put forward by the philosophers of religion about the various issues of the importance in their topic.

There is no society in its cultural formation without a religious dimension due to the fact that Religion is a divine origin, the core of our belief, and a circumstance on the one hand, and religiosity is a human diversity and the product of intellectual judgment on the other.

The study employs a philosophical, analytical and comparative approach.

It includes five sections, dealing with the issues of religion and religiosity pinpointing that the religious dimension as a phenomenon is only a tool for revealing the reality of what is happening in society in terms of ways of thinking and practice that govern social values, direct belief and rituals, and in turn, reveal the actual reality of the religious with all its positive and negative aspects, and to find out an important result in this relationship and the development of the concept of religion in thought and its transformations, which opened an interpretive field for the experiences of the religious and the multiplicity of religious approaches.
