The experiment was conducted in one of the greenhouses affiliated to the Research Center of the College of Agriculture/University of Baghdad in Jadiriyah in 2022 to study the effects of the nozzel type and spray speed on some spray quality characteristics including spray density, volume median diameter and penetration rate on The tomato crop, and the experiment was conducted using a locally manufactured vertical spraying system used to spray pesticides to combat agricultural pests and diseases inside greenhouses, and it is also used to spray other types of solutions, .

In this experiment, three types of nozzels were used FLAT FAN NOZZLE AP120 and AIR-INDUCTION ANTI DRIFT NOZZLE AP031108 and DUAL SPRAY AIR-INJECTOR CERAMIC NOZZLE6MS03C2 with three spray speeds 0.684, 0.824 and 1.188 km.

The results were analyzed by using the least significant difference (LSD) method at the 0.05 level and compared with the (Complete Randomized Design-CRD).

The results showed that the use of the nozzel type Flat fan AP12003 achieved the highest spray density by 119.50 (drop.
