Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the level of metacognitive thinking and its relationship to psychological tranquility of a sample of graduate students.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a random sample of (288) male and femal students was randomly chosen, and the metric of thinking metacognitive and psychological tranquility was developed.

The study concluded that Metacognitive thinking was moderate, and the psychological tranquility was high, and that there was a positive correlation between metacognitive thinking and psychological tranquility.

It was also found that males were better in self-planning and self-evaluation than females, while females were better than males in self-monitoring.

The results of the study found that doctoral students are better than Master's students in metacognitive thinking and psychological tranquility.
