The research dealt with the management of continuing education in community service.

The research problem was that the system was restricted to the circulation of knowledge and educational experiences between the professor and the student, without the participation of other members of society, and the educational responsibility was limited to the narrowest possible scope, instead of making it a general phenomenon and common among all groups of society, and thus it became an obstacle to Change according to the ability to achieve equal educational opportunities and social reform.

The importance of the research stems from the necessity to create channels of communication between university education institutions and the external community, by acquiring greater knowledge in harmony and integration with community service, in line with the problems of our reality, and the repercussions of the times and its problems as well.

The aim of the research is to contribute to the development and building of human capabilities, raise their efficiency through targeted training, meet the needs of the state and the labor market of highly qualified intermediate cadres, as well as expand educational opportunities for holders of high school diplomas or their equivalent, and conduct research in the field of continuing education and community service.

The research followed the historical and analytical method.

The research yielded a number of results, including: There is a need in Sudanese society for this type of education, and that training and qualifying a person makes his life better and enriches its various aspects, and that there must be a link between academic excellence and employment opportunities.

The research recommended several recommendations, including: The need to urge the continuation of the individual in the educational cycle, with a focus on self-education.

The need to develop human resources in countries that seek development, progress and advancement.

And the search for areas of excellence that serve our needs, the importance of activating the impact of the needs of the work market on the outputs of higher education.
