The study dealt with the importance of applying the balanced scorecard to tax performance in Sudan 2020.

The study aimed to measure tax performance using the dimensions of the balanced scorecard to achieve tax purposes.

The study reached several results, the most important of which is the application of the balanced scorecard to improve the quality of the tax service, which helps the voluntary commitment of taxpayers, which contributes to increasing the tax proceeds.

The study recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which is measuring tax performance on a continuous basis, which helps in the continuous development and improvement in the provision of tax services.
