Abstract EN

The study dealt with the role of national anti-corruption mechanisms in Sudanese law and the diagnosis of the phenomenon of corruption and the definition of its concept, its causes, its characteristics and its effects.

It also dealt with the disclosure of the national anti-corruption mechanism provided for in the constitution along with its composition, characteristics, objectives, powers and jurisdiction, In the Sudanese criminal legislation and corruption crimes and their relationship to other types of crimes in addition to the general provisions contained in the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the international efforts against corruption The problem of research in the national anti-corruption mechanism in the Sudanese legislation and its role and independence in the performance of its functions and whether the national legislation included all the crimes of corruption and corrupt practices that were implicated by the United Nations Convention against Cor-ruption in 2003.

The study was followed by analytical descriptive method, which is based on the collection of information from the mothers of sources and their analysis.

The limits of the research were determined in terms of the location of the Republic of Sudan with its spatial boundaries.

The study reached a number of conclusions and recommendations.

The most important of these is that corruption is a malignant phenomenon.

The Sudanese legislator was a forerunner in the criminalization provisions of the UN Convention by criminalizing all forms of corruption in his various laws.
