Abstract EN

This study, entitled Combating Organized Crime, came in the light of national legislation and international agreements، and the importance of the study seems to be that the subject of combating organized crime is one of the new and very serious topics that need jurisprudence dealing with it and a law that regulates it.

The study followed the descriptive analytical, inductive and comparative method.

The researcher reviewed the concept of organized crime, stating the definition of crime, and the definition of organized crime, and talked about the types of characteristics of crime، its characteristics and goals, and the researcher concluded the study to clarify the international, Arab and national efforts to combat organized crime.

The study was completed with the results and recommendations.

The most important results: The research showed that there are deficiencies in many criminal legislation in the face of organized crime, and that poverty and unemployment are among the main reasons that lead individuals to join organized crime gangs.

The most important recommendations: The need for the Sudanese legislator to put in place special legislation to combat such crime and try to coordinate with international bodies and institutions to issue unified legislations that guarantee the possibility of tracking some types of crimes, especially those that affect the security of the state.

The texts of the agreements signed in this field must be activated and strive to conclude more Among the agreements to combat organized crime, in addition to cooperation in the security field between countries in terms of exchanging information and experiences.
