The management of archeological sites means preparing and preserving the sites in order to expand the archeological information and ensure the stability of the sites.

Thus, it is about the preservation, study, protection and interpretation of sites, whether it is a complex or a single site.

From this point of view, this paper discusses the management of the ancient site of Meroe, the “royal city”(1909-2021), which is located about 250 km north of Khartoum and is considered one of the most important archeological sites in Sudan, as it was the capital of the Meroitic kingdom that flourished from the fourth century BC to the fourth century AD.

The archeological site of Meroe was investigated over a long period of time (1909-2020) by various archeological missions.

This study will evaluate and analyze this work to arrive at an integrated vision that will help the site achieve sustainability and guide its future studies.

The study will also provide insights into the conservation, protection, and future tourism development of the site.
