In this regard, I try to talk about one of the arts of science in the metropolises of the Islamic West, which is: jurisprudence; and in two closely related metropolises of knowledge, namely: Kairouan and Sicily; This is for the purpose of being more familiar with the mysteries of the corners of the cities of the Islamic West and what they hide from hidden pearls, and hidden precious treasures, until the sun rises again, even from the west! These lines were labeled: “Alfiqh and alfuqahs' in the Cities of Science in the Islamic West – Kairouan and Sicily are two examples.

”The importance of the subject, which lies mainly in the statement of the contributions of the scientific metropolises in the Islamic West countries to the dissemination of science among people in general, and Islamic jurisprudence in particular, and the resulting removal of many ambiguities, confusion and confusion about them.

Did the cities of knowledge in the Islamic West have an impact on the formation of jurists and the development and advancement of Islamic jurisprudence, in a sensitive area of a vast Islamic homeland, which is watched by the eyes of enemies, and hidden hands of agents? From this general problem posed, sub-questions arise related to it, which are mainly represented in the following: What is the state of jurisprudence and jurists in general in the metropolises of Kairouan and the island of Sicily? Was jurisprudence in the metropolis of Sicily an extension of what it was in the metropolis of Kairouan? Who are the most prominent jurists who gave birth to those scientific bellies? The most important thing I reached at the conclusion of these lines was mainly the close relationship that brought together the two presents in its jurisprudential aspect, as Sicily was an extension of what Kairouan was.
