The aim of this paper is introduce the museum , the types of museums, and the museums contribution to enlightening the public and their knowledge oftheir heritage ; The actual participation ofthe museum in the cultural , social and economic development of the community I n traducing the Gezira &ate Museum of Antiquities and Heritage its contents the internal presentation of the pieces, the developments that occurred in the museum and the &ages it went through ,and then the moS important recommendations .
