This article aims to tackle the features of positivist philosophy, with a review of the status of its founder, foundational principles and the subsequent development of this philosophy.

The study employs the descriptive analytical approach.

The study also seeks to uncover one of those active philosophies in the field of epistemology.

The philosophy has greatly influenced the contemporary field of knowledge, and in the light of which beliefs and statements have been formed, as being highly present and influential in our contemporary life today.

It is a sensory philosophical movement, proceeded from the womb of sensual philosophy, denying that human knowledge has a source other than the sense.

It emphasizes that human thought only perceives the phenomena of concrete things, and the relationships between them only.

This philosophy exaggerates the denial of the unseen and metaphysics.

Therefore, it is considered an atheist philosophy.
