The research aims to address the border conflict between sudan and ethiopia over the al-Fashqa area, which belongs to the state of gedaref in eastern sudan, which is sudanese territory before the independence of the sudanese state in the year 1956 ad.

the most important resource for agricultural and livestock production for sudan if it is invested in a good way, and the research worked to shed light on the sudanese relations through the eras the various historical figures come to the end to demonstrate the suda neseness of al-fashqa, a matter on which all sources and references have agreed.

the research followed the historical, descriptive, and analytical method in order to reach results, the most important of which are: al-fashqa is a sudanese land with full sovereignty.

the sudanese border lands with ethiopia were subject to ethiopian ambitions due to their fertility and abundance of water.

ethiopian ambitions in sudan’s border lands will not stop unless they are properly and scientifically invested for the benefit of sudan, which is in dire need of exploiting all its lands.
