Morocco witnessed many epidemics and diseases, the most important causes of which were wars, economic, demographic and social crises.

Through this article we will address aspects of the demographic history of Morocco during the modern era, with a focus on health conditions and their relationship to pollution of water points, in addition to medical attitudes from The repercussions of the water pandemics that were plaguing the country, by highlighting the ruling authority’s measures regarding epidemics and diseases, the positions of different groups of society against these plagues and diseases, and the perceptions and mental representations of the scientist and popular groups from these pests and epidemics.
