Abstract EN

According to the books of Travelers and pilgrims from the Maghreb to Hidjaz, which were called Rihla Hijazia, and according to the accurate description of the different cultural aspects, these books were among the most reliable sources for research in the economic, social and political life and the most scientific ones, and they still used as a guide to the geography of North Africa and south west of Asia.

They represent a material about the economy of Hijaz too, and they describe the monetary, natural resources, trade, agricultural and industrial productions systemsin the eleventh century AH.

Through the eyes of the Maghribians backpackers, who had focused on what brought attention to economic life.

In this paper and in order to enrich and analyze an economic phenomenon, I have used a num ber of these sources and other specialized studies that were specific for this subject of study.
