Abstract EN

The establishment of the Almohad State (541- 668 AH) was not the result of a circumstantial struggle with the Almoravids (448-541 AH).

Rather, it derives its origins from a deep experience and the practice of an organization that Muhammad ibn Tumartdeveloped, since the beginning of the sixth century AH, as it appeared in propaganda forms that reflect the depth of thinking and shrewdness, at a time when the Almoravids did not understand their purposes, exceptaftertheir manifestations became apparent.

Their counter- propaganda was sluggish, and their military moves were useless, because public opinion in the Maghreb had formed and brewed the idea of political and sectarian change.
