Abstract EN

The research deals with the factors behind the prosperity of scientific life in the Khorasan region during the Seljuk era.

Among these factors that helped the development of the scientific and cultural movement in the region were the presence of the different religious doctrines, these doctrines that took science as a means to promote their teachings and try to convince them of the validity of these teachings.

That, the abundant effects left by the scholars of the different religious sects, despite what these doctrines have caused in terms of division among Muslims and weakening their power in addition to scientific trips.

The nature of the region (Khorasan Province) and its benefits were dealt with in detail in this study, which had a great impact in encouraging science and scholars.

The study also dealt with the interest of the sultans, ministers and princes in science and scholars and sectarian conflict such as the Sunni-Sunni conflict and the Sunni-Shiite conflict.

Which led to the enrichment of the scientific movement in the region, and indeed in the entire Islamic world.
