The research included a detailed study of human rights in the Iraqi constitution in force for the year 2005, including the study of civil rights and political rights, which are the protection and privileges of the personal authority of all citizens under the law, such as the right to life, the right to privacy, the right to dignity, and freedom of residence.

Mobility and other rights and in political rights, such as the right to vote, the right to nominate, and the right to employment, and the research also included a detailed study of economic, social and cultural rights such as the right to work, the right to strike, the right to own property, freedom of trade, and The right to a healthy environment and intellectual rights such as the right to education, the right to freedom of opinion, freedom of the press, freedom of belief and religion, bearing in mind that the Iraqi constitution in force has taken the standards of the International Bill of Human Rights, including the human rights stipulated in the Declaration issued by the General Assembly of 1986.
