Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the relationship between self-compassion and achievement motivation of working wife in Al-Aqsa University in Gaza Strip and to recognize the level of self-compassion and achievement motivation they have, moreover, it aimed to verify whether there are any differences among the study sample on self-compassion and achievement motivation according to the following Educational Level).

The researcher applied descriptive analytical &variables (Age method and used scales of self-compassion, achievement motivation that was prepared by her on sample of 117 worker wives in Al-Aqsa University.

The results of the study concluded that: the level of self-compassion is medium and the level of achievement motivation is high.

There is statistically positive correlation between self-compassion and the level of achievement motivation, and there are no statistic differences between the averages of self-compassion and achievement motivation among working wives in Al-Aqsa University due to variable (Age).

In addition, there are statistically significant differences of self-compassion among the study sample due to the variable (Educational Level) in favor of working wives PhD holders.

As well, the results showed there are no statistically significant differences of achievement motivation among the study sample due to the variable (Educational Level).
