Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the symptoms of narcissistic personality and its relationship to tribal intolerance among Al al-Bayt University students.

The study used the descriptive correlative approach, and to achieve these goals, two tools were developed: the first is the Narcissistic Personality Scale prepared by Brianti and Linkowski (Briganti & Linkowski, 2019), The scale of tribal intolerance prepared by Abd al-Rahim (Abdelrahim, 2020), was applied to an intentional sample of (600) male and female undergraduate students.

The results of the study showed that the arithmetic averages of the narcissistic personality scale as a whole came to a medium degree of (3.12), and the results showed a positive, statistically significant relationship between the relationship between narcissistic personality symptoms and tribal intolerance among Al al-Bayt University students, and there were no statistically significant differences in the average of students’ responses to Scales of narcissistic personality symptoms and tribal intolerance according to the variables (gender, place of residence, educational level), And there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (a = 0.05) due to the effect of the educational level in all axes of narcissistic personality symptoms, with the exception of the cognitive dimension.
