Sports is one of the most important activities in societies that aim to highlight and direct the skills of individuals and achieve psychological, physical and mental balance, and the practice of these activities requires funding and large financial support, so the idea of financing sports activities to support sports and achieve a service for the financier at the same time in terms of promoting his sports products in front of the public One of the most prominent types of this financing is the contract for the promotion of sports services, which is the main tool for financing many activities and people in the sports field, after sports became not limited to being a social entertainment activity, but rather an industrial market for the fields of investment and making profits, and the novelty of this topic made us look at Commercial legal systems for the purpose of organizing it, especially since the Iraqi legislator did not refer to such type of contracts within the contracts of financial resources for sports teams and clubs.
