Abstract EN

This research is an empirical study aimed at identifying the effect of a learning environment based on flipped learning on academic achievement among female students in a computer-assisted course at the faculty of education in Hail University, Saudi Arabia.

To achieve the objectives of the research, a learning environment based on flipped learning, and an achievement test were designed for the syllabus of the computer course.

The sample of the research consisted of 40 female students who they were divided into two equivalent groups: control and experimental.

The results of the research showed statistically significant differences between means of the two groups in the post-application of the achievement test at α ≤ 0.05, in favor of the experimental group.

There were also statistically significant differences between means of the experiment group in the pre and post application of the achievement test in favor of the post application.

The results also showed the great effect of using learning environment based on flipped learning on academic achievement.

In light of these results, the research confirmed the importance of learning environments based on flipped learning at the university level.

More studies are recommended to further discover the impact of these environments on developing different levels of thinking and skills among university students.
