The study aims to reveal the degree of inclusion of governance standards (transparency, accountability, participation, equality, empowerment, decision-making) in the strategic planning of Umm Al-Qura University, and to reach suggested indicators to include governance in strategic planning at Umm Al-Qura University, and use the descriptive approach to answer the study questions And the questionnaire as a tool for it, and it was distributed to faculty members and the like who are assigned to administrative positions, at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, where the questionnaire was distributed to the entire community and 105 questionnaires were returned from it, The degree of inclusion of governance criteria (transparency, accountability, participation, equality, empowerment, decision-making) in the strategic planning of Umm Al-Qura University came with a weighted average (302.7) and a relative strength (57.7%), and thus the level of the axis is strong, and the criterion is arranged as follows: Weight- weighted equality (326.6) and relative strength (62.2%), the transparency criterion with weighted weight (323.9) and relative strength (61.7%), the empowerment criterion weighted (305.5) and relative strength (58.2%), the accountability criterion weighted (297.8) and relative strength (56.7%), the decision-making criterion with weighted weight (291.6) and relative strength (55.5%), the participation criterion with weighted weight (271.0) and relative strength (51.6%), and the level of governance indicators in strategic planning at Umm Al-Qura University came with a weighted average (426.7).
