Abstract EN

The present study aimed to reveal the relationship between future orientation and frustration tolerance in light of some demographic variables for a sample of (357) students from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University., The researcher used the following tools: A measure of future orientation (prepared by the researcher), the frustration tolerance scale (prepared by Abu al-Nur and Muhammad , 2006) and The study reached several results, the most important of which are: the existence of a positive statistically significant relationship between the following dimensions of future orientation (perception of the importance of time, perception of the importance of the future, anticipation The future) and between all dimensions of tolerance of frustrion and the overall degree of it, The existence of statistically significant differences between students of human specialization and students of scientific specialization in the dimension of perception the importance of time in the direction of students of scientific specialization and the absence of statistically significant differences between the lower academic levels.

The higher academic levels are on the scale of orientation towards the future in its various dimensions, and the two dimensions of the ability to plan for the future, awareness of the importance of the future, contributed to the expectation of enduring frustration.
