Sheikh Mohamed Ali Dabouz made important contributions in rewriting the history of the Maghreb in general and the history of Algeria in particular, after the writings of ancient and contemporary historians and bloggers distorted him.

the last of them were members of the colonial missions who were recruited to collect information and analyze data related to each component of the Maghreb population and its lands, then present them to the interests of the occupation armies for use in facilitating the task of the invasion and eliminating the resistance.

the writings of Sheikh Mohamed Ali Dabouz are part of the efforts of the national movement that began in Algeria since the end of the nineteenth century AD.

These efforts aimed to enlighten national public opinion and resist all forms of distortion that targeted the foundations of the national and civilized personality.

Based on that, we must present the following problem : What are the most prominent methodological characteristics of the history of the Maghreb in general and Algerian history specifically through the writings of Sheikh Muhammad Ali Debouz?.
