The Energy are becoming the basis of modern life, and the energy consumption has become indicator of the progress of peoples and nations, the end of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twentieth- first century has seen increased steadily in demand for different energy sources in Saudi Arabia as a result of industrial revival , expansion of urban and nature of the climatic conditions, and highlights the importance of relying on renewable energy technologies as an alternative to reduce the use of traditional energy sources.

While the world looks the increasingly to renewable energy in order to meet the global demand for energy, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not the exception of that in order to relieve pressure on the use of oil as energy alone in Saudi Arabia, where the rate of consumption of conventional energy costs UK one-third its oil resources.

Therefore, this research aims to solar energy study alternative and energy clean, in Saudi Arabia, and activating its role in meeting the growing needs for energy in the future in light of the environmental determinants as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has one of the highest solar radiation levels in the world, they receive between 1800 - 2200 kWh per square meter per year, in addition to the challenges facing the use in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
