The study aimed to study the reality of academic accreditation standards and proposals for academic accreditation standards in the light of recent global trends in Jordanian public universities from the point of view of academic leaders in Jordanian public universities among the deans of colleges and heads of departments due to the variables of scientific rank, job title.

This study was applied to a stratified random sample of 130 faculty members who are academic leaders at the University of Jordan (faculties deans, vice deans, heads of academic departments).

In the first semester of the year 2020/2021.

The scale was applied from two main dimensions (the reality of academic accreditation standards, proposals for developing academic accreditation standards); on faculty members, and the results showed the following: - The degree of reality of academic accreditation standards in the light of recent global trends in Jordanian public universities from the point of view of academic leaders in Jordanian public universities came to a high degree with an arithmetic mean (3.69) and a standard deviation (13.642), and its paragraphs were generally high, and the degree of proposals for developing standards Academic accreditation in light of recent global trends in Jordanian public universities from the point of view of academic leaders in Jordanian public universities was with a mean (3.74) and a standard deviation (16,424), and its paragraphs were generally high.

- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α 0.05) between the estimates of the study sample for the two areas of reality of accreditation criteria and the proposals of accreditation standards for the variable of the job title (Dean and Deputy Dean), while the results indicated that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05).
